So you want to walk a Camino!

(Or you have already walked one)

We welcome new, future, and seasoned pilgrims each month, and we want to be sure that everyone is aware of the great resources that are available. We’ve collected some of them on this page.

Some items come from within our own chapter, and some are from our national organization,
American Pilgrims on the Camino.

Enjoy! With a little bit of luck, all of the links below should be live (if you encounter a problem, please let us know).

Chapter Facebook Group

Our chapter has a private Facebook group, Southern Wisconsin Chapter American Pilgrims on the Camino.

It is a great place to post questions, insights, and even pictures as you walk across Spain.

This is your group!  Tap that 'pilgrim spirit' by engaging and encouraging one another.

Our National Organization

American Pilgrims on the Camino has great resources!

On the main website, you can gather information and ideas and even order your pilgrim passport.

By becoming a member, you help support the organization and give back to the Camino.

APOC also has a Facebook group.

Community of Women Pilgrims

There is a private Facebook group called Camigas ~ A Buddy System for Women on the Camino, that gives women pilgrims a chance to connect for companionship and safety.

Hot Facebook Pilgrim Tip!

In the above groups, be sure to browse "FILES" to find suggestions on everything from packing lists to defeating bedbugs.

And if you have a great Camino insight of your own, please share it with the rest of us!

Returning Pilgrim Reflections

Each fall we offer a workbook to returning pilgrims to assist in making meaning of the powerful Camino experience and readjusting to a "post-Camino" world.

We are grateful to Cheryl Grasmoen (formerly on the APOC board of directors) for creating and sharing this resource.

It has been helpful to pilgrims who had a rough time readjusting after a transformative Camino experience.

All are welcome to take advantage of this resource, whether or not you walked the year you are reading this.

Don't miss it!
